Wishlist

Wish list items:

The following things are items that I WISH for. I in no way expect people to send me everything on the list. I can survive here in Malawi just fine without anything from below! But, I want you to know I do appreciate anything you send me! You have all already sent me with so much love and support, I am the luckiest!!!

Food:
-Sriracha Sauce
-Dried fruit: Cranberries, apples, bananas, raisins & pineapple are my favorites
-Quinoa or Cous Cous
-Bakers chocolate
-Coffee (Hazlenut or other delicious flavors) & Tea (Black)
-Nuts (not peanuts- I can get those here)
-Trail mix
-Juice mixes
-Tuna
-Snack crackers (kashi wheat, or any kind of wheat/whole grain good for you types are great!)
-Oreos
-Things for smores (I sit in front of a fire every night cooking my food, one of these nights I would love my favorite camping treat!!)
-Candy! So far in the packages others have received their chocolate has not melted… sooo any kind of chocolate will do!! I love Riesens, M&M’s (peanut butter!), starburst, sour patch kids, Reese’s, you get the idea
-Granola bars (Cliff and Luna bars are my favorite!)
-Brownie/cake mixes
-Seasonings- Cayenne pepper, Red pepper flakes, black pepper, Italian seasoning, vanilla extract, cumin, rosemary, garlic salt, anything fun that catches your eye!

Other:
  • AAA Batteries (super expensive here)
  • Music/TV shows/Movies/eBooks on a flash drive
  • Good sunscreen
  • Photos of your beautiful face
  • Good books
  • Fun flower and vegetable seed packets
  • Quality Pens
  • Ear plugs
  • Vegetable peeler/whisk/can opener/spatula
  • Hand crank flashlight
  • A baseball hat
  • Foot lotion and nail polish (who knew that I would love giving myself pedicures. My feet get so horribly dirty here and having clean pretty feet is the best feeling)
  • Soaps/lotions/shampoos/ anything that will help me feel clean and smell purdy J
  • Anything to do with American holidays or traditions. It’s fun to share these things with my village!
  • A star map for the southern hemisphere

If you do send a package it helps to write things like “Jesus Saves” and “Bless the lord.” When you are asked to claim what is in the package it helps to just write bibles or feminine products. These little things help make sure that I receive the package fully intact without anyone trying to steal my Butterfinger!!

Here is my address:
